In March this year LMI Suriname celebrated her 25th anniversary and since LMI Greater Caribbean is monitored from Suriname it was a double reason for evaluating the past, celebrate the successes and plan and set new goals.
In the past period in Suriname LMI has delivered more than 2700 graduates and, in the Caribbean, (since Lucien Naarden took over from other Master Licensees) more than 12,000 graduates.
We are very proud of what we deliver, since most of our graduates still live and work with the new attitudes, they developed through the LMI process. No matter how long ago they graduated they keep reporting successes and goals accomplished.
The LMI process focuses on doing and applying instead of discussing and talking about the changes needed. Knowing does not automatically lead to doing, so for us putting down measurable results is the mark of the success of our process. We transform our clients from talkers to doers with the slogan” “stop talking and start doing” or “walk the talk”.
We play in a league where we don’t talk about and discuss challenges like performance, leadership, and strategic behavior, but simply practice it.
We want to share a few highlights worth confirming our success:
This was granted because he had the courage to enroll Members of Parliament and Leaders in Government Ministries into the programs Effective Personal Leadership and Effective Personal Management. He believed that this would benefit Suriname. Mrs. Marijke Djawalapersad, who then was the Chairperson of Parliament was one of the best participants proving that attitudes and behavior are the cornerstones of success.
